Keri Anania
Owner + PA-C
Nebraska Functional Medicine was founded by Keri Anania, who discovered functional medicine by way of her own personal health journey. It was not until they found the root cause of her symptoms that she finally felt well. This inspired her to learn more. By experiencing the beauty of this healing firsthand, Keri knows the power it holds. She believes treating the whole person-mind, body, and spirit-is how true wellness is achieved.
Professionally, she has immersed herself in learning all things functional medicine. She has advanced training through the Institute of Functional Medicine, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and has spoken at various national medical conferences. She continues to be a thought-leader in the area, and refuses to stop learning.
When she isn’t in the clinic, you will find her in her favorite role as a mommy. She and her husband have three little girls. She is full of wanderlust, enjoys everything athletics, hot tea, game nights, beautiful scenery, and loving on friends and family.

Kelsey Rech
FDN-P
Kelsey Rech is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner. After spending almost 10 years as a critical care and perioperative nurse, she became frustrated with band aid fixes and watching the population she cared for become sicker and sicker without answers. Her own health issues led her to the world of functional medicine where she was able to see first hand the importance of an integrative, holistic approach to health and wellness.
Kelsey and her husband spend most of their time trying to keep up with their two young boys. When she isn’t working or mom-ing, she loves reading, rock climbing, and snowboarding. You’ll often find her experimenting in the kitchen with a new gluten-free treat, lifting weights, or bingeing a new audiobook.

Lisa Asche
Wellness Educator
Lisa is the Wellness Educator here at Nebraska Functional Medicine. It is her pleasure to help our patients embrace their health and wellness from a different perspective. As an educator, she ensures they have what they need to be successful in this new journey. She personally loves seeing and hearing the many stories and seeing their smiles as patients find optimal health.
One of her greatest joys is embracing this medical practice with her daughter Keri. It's something special seeing her daughter use the gifts God has given her to heal the sick.
In her spare time she is keeping up with two young grandchildren, with two more on the way! Lisa and her husband enjoy the outdoors, golfing, and traveling together.

Patty Bean
Certified Health and Wellness Coach
Patty is the Health Coach for Nebraska Functional Medicine. Patty brings 8 years of coaching experience to her clients. She has taken 3 years of coach training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC, at Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA), and has completed life-coach certification with Martha Beck International Wayfinder training. In addition to her coach certifications, Patty works as a Licensed Massage Therapist. She is currently enrolled in training to become a Functional Nutrition Counselor through the Functional Nutrition Alliance and plans to complete this program in 2022.
Patty came to Functional Medicine through a personal health journey and has successfully reversed her thyroid autoimmune disorder using Functional Medicine principles. As a coach, Patty specializes in the mind-body connection. She works with her clients to help them manage and embrace stress and helps them learn to engage their parasympathetic nervous system to find peace within.

Kayla Blomstedt
Registered Nurse
Kayla Blomstedt has been a registered nurse for 5 years. She has spent her time as a RN in both critical care and rheumatology. Caring for patients during their most critical times and seeing first-hand the impact that autoimmune disease can have has sparked her interest for wellness promotion and functional medicine! She loves administering the nutrient infusions to patients, then seeing and hearing about the great results they receive from them!
Kayla and her husband have two kiddos. When she’s not chasing them around, her time is spent studying to one day become a nurse practitioner. She enjoys reading, crocheting, running, and browsing the aisles of Target with a coffee in hand.
