Why do I need an IV?

Well, if you are feeling run down, stressed, tired, having chronic pain, or wanting to slow down your aging process and boost your metabolism, you could use an infusion!  Or maybe you want to improve your immunity and protect yourself against infections? Then keep listening.

We have a variety of IV infusions we can offer you depending on your current health status. Our IV’s are made up of a variety of minerals and vitamins that can give you the boost that you are looking for.  Our nurses here are skilled in starting IV’s and excited to be here for you. Here’s what to expect when you arrive for your first infusion:

You will be greeted by a friendly team member at NFM and seated in our comfortable infusion room that has reclining chairs and a calming environment.  With the nurse, you will together discuss which infusion will be best for you, then she will go prepare it. Once it is ready she will start your IV. A needle is used to start your IV, but then immediately removed and a flexible soft thin tube will be left in its place and secured with a clear bandage. (The poke is minimal and we assure you our nurses do a fabulous job making it as painless as possible!) The infusion will be connected and viola’, you are up and running!  Each infusion usually takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on which one you receive.  Your arm may feel cool during the infusion.  Once the nutrient bag is empty the nurse will remove the catheter and cover the area with a cotton ball and bandage.  Many people feel the difference the same day as their infusion! But the effects last for several days following.

What are you waiting for?!  Give us a call today for a better you!
